My new project is ‘Useless Vessels’.  The vessels will be purely decorative and have no practical use. I have been experimenting with methods of creating vessels from soft materials: textiles and yarns.  I am looking for vessels that will stand up on their own.  Methods include weaving, knitting, twining, textile collage and modroc, but avoiding ‘craft’ vessels.
